Research Focuses on Cognition of Dementia Caregivers and Use of Assessment Tool to Track Brain Vitals in Healthy Individuals

WHAT: At AAIC, AnthroTronix will present “Cognition of Dementia Caretakers,” which used DANA to analyze the cognitive effect that ongoing caregiving has on those who serve individuals with dementia. AnthroTronix embarked on this study due to the lack of research in this specific space. AnthroTronix will also present “Properties of a Mobile Neurocognitive Assessment Tool,” which studied the stability and reliability of DANA in tracking cognitive performance in adolescent and elderly populations over time.
The research studies being presented at the conference used AnthroTronix’s brain health assessment tool DANA. The app, which received FDA clearance in October 2014, is a phone or tablet-based mobile medical app that works on both the Android and iOS operating systems and can provide data within minutes to help assess and measure brain health.
