Melroy is founder and CEO of Melroy & Hollett Technology Partners. Prior to this position, she was with Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) from 2013 to 2017, serving as deputy director of the Tactical Technology Office. Before DARPA, Melroy was a senior technical advisor and director of field operations for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Office of Commercial Space Transportation. Prior to this she also worked as deputy program manager of Space Exploration Initiatives for Lockheed Martin.
“We are thrilled to add such an accomplished individual to the AnthroTronix board,” said Dr. Cori Lathan, founder and CEO of AnthroTronix. “Colonel Melroy brings unmatched knowledge and experience to our organization as we continue to leverage 18 years of groundbreaking research and development related to advanced interface technology and human performance.”
As an Air Force pilot, Melroy is a veteran of Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. She attended the Air Force Test Pilot School and was assigned to the C-17 Combined Test Force and served as a test pilot until her selection for the astronaut program.
